Professional Background

As a trial attorney for the Committee for Public Counsel Services (CPCS), Massachusetts’ public defender office, Sarah Fleming represents adult criminal defendants, focusing on matters pending in the Superior Court. Sarah’s initial tenure at CPCS stretched from 2010 to 2016, at which point she departed to join J.W. Carney, Jr., & Associates. After a few years of practicing out of her own law offices, Sarah returned to CPCS in 2021.
