Professional Background

Originally earning an undergraduate degree in English Education, Emily Horjus pivoted to pursuing a career in the legal profession in 2016. While at New England Law, Horjus served as Senior Executive Editor on the New England Law Review and had judicial internships at the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court and Suffolk Superior Court. Horjus currently works as an Attorney Advisor in the Department of Labor’s Office of Administrative Law Judges, which handles cases related to workers’ compensation, employee complaints of discrimination and retaliation, and temporary labor certifications.
