Why Join an Advocacy or Skills Team
Gain Real-World Skills
As a member, you will hone your legal skills—while learning how to work as part of a team—as you and your classmates collaborate, present arguments, test approaches, take risks, and discover how to succeed in competitions.
Network with Potential Employers
At skills and moot court/mock trial events, you will have the opportunity to meet—and demonstrate your skills—to practicing attorneys and jurists who coach and judge these competitions.
The Potential for National Recognition
In recent years, we have placed highly in national competitions, claimed first place in Oral Advocacy, and brought home major awards in the Best Advocate, Best Oralist, Top Speaker, and Legal Briefs categories.
