CILP Speaker Series will feature human rights litigator Viviana Krsticevic, Executive Director of the Center for Justice and International Law.

New England Law | Boston is thrilled to welcome human rights litigator Viviana Krsticevic to campus as part of the Center International Law and Policy Speaker Series: Assessing the Impact of Human Rights Litigation in the Americas.  

Ms. Krsticevic has been a human rights litigator in the Inter-American Human Rights System for over two decades, working on some of the region’s most cutting-edge cases helping to protect men, women, and children throughout the Americas.

She is the Executive Director of the Center for Justice and International Law, one of the leading non-governmental groups to bring cases to the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights and the Inter-American Court of Human Rights.

Ms. Krsticevic will share some of her first-hand accounts of litigating in a regional human rights system while also offering her assessment of the direct impact of this work. 

Ms. Krsticevic received her law degree from the University of Buenos Aires, a master’s degree in Latin American Studies from Stanford University, and an LLM from Harvard University. She also teaches at the American University Washington College of Law.
