Beth Simon
Director/ Title IX Coordinator
Beth joined New England Law Boston in 2023. Prior to that, Beth practiced as a licensed attorney for 25 years in CA, NY and MA in non-profit, government and solo practice environments; she eventually specialized in special education law. She is also a proud mother of two young adult children. Beth’s prior work and life experiences inform her practical counsel to students in her role as the Director of Student Services. Beth encourages all students to schedule an individual appointment at any time to discuss resources, options and advice as they navigate law school. For best results, she urges students who are experiencing academic or personal challenges to please schedule an appointment with her as soon as possible.

Christopher “Chip” Kennedy
ADA Specialist
Chip is an experienced accessibility professional with more than 25 years of leadership in higher education administration and disability services. Throughout his career, Chip has designed and delivered comprehensive accessibility services programs that support equitable educational outcomes for students with disabilities at numerous institutions in the Boston area, including Babson College, Bentley University, and Curry College. His experience includes developing departmental processes that ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations, data analysis, the implementation of support initiatives, advancing assistive technology options, and creating training and educational initiatives for faculty, staff, and campus communities. Chip has also been deeply engaged in the professional accessibility community having previously served as President of the Board of Directors for the New England Chapter of the Association on Higher Education And Disability (AHEAD), where he helped strengthen partnerships and advance accessibility and equity initiatives across institutions. Chip holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Dartmouth College and a master’s degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration from the University of Vermont.

Alice Ettling
Administrative Assistant
Alice has been the Administrative Assistant for the Office of Student Services since February 2023. She manages the Student Services email inbox, answers questions, and connects students with the people who can best address their concerns. Alice processes all applications for law student practice, including certification under Massachusetts Rule 3:03. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA.
